Small Generator Interconnection Procedures (SGIP), (For Generating Facilities No Larger Than 20 MW) These procedures are applicable to each new Generating Facility with a Generating Facility Capacity of 20 MWs or less, or the expansion of an existing Generating Facility with a resultant Generating Facility Capacity of 20 MWs or less, that seeks to interconnect to the ISO Controlled Grid. Any proposed interconnection of a new Generating Facility to a Participating TO’s Distribution System will be processed, as applicable, pursuant to the applicable Participating TO’s Wholesale Distribution Access Tariff or CPUC Rule 21, or other Local Regulatory Authority requirements of the Participating TO. Any proposed interconnection of a new Generating Facility with a Generating Facility Capacity of 20 MWs or less wherein the Interconnection Customer desires the ISO to perform a Deliverability Assessment, the Interconnection Customer shall submit an Interconnection Request to the ISO under the Large Generator Interconnection Procedures in lieu of these Small Generator Interconnection Procedures.
