Greater Bay Area Long-Term Study

Background In the 2009 planning cycle, the Greater Bay Area Long-term study (2010 GBA Study) will be conducted and integrated with the 2010 California ISO Transmission Plan. This study will build upon a preliminary Greater Bay Area Study that was recently finalized. The purpose of the 2010 GBA Study will be to establish a need for a project and an analysis of transmission and generation conceptual alternatives that could meet this need.
