Summary:  The CAISO has posted its updated proposal on declined real-time import and export bids to its website.  The CAISO will hold a stakeholder conference call on December 3, 2007 to discuss the updated proposal.

Main Text:  The California ISO (CAISO) initiated a stakeholder process to assess options for addressing the problems involving declined pre-dispatched bids in preparation for the Market Redesign and Technology Upgrade (MRTU) and the summer of 2008.

 

As a part of this process, CAISO published its straw proposal on this issue and asked market participants to provide their comments.  The CAISO has reviewed the comments and published its updated proposal to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1ca6/1ca665ae55c00.pdf.

 

The CAISO will hold a conference call on December 3 to discuss its updated proposal and get market participants’ feedback.
