Main Text:  The California ISO (CAISO) will make adjustments in Charge Types (CTs) 4407, 4406 and 1210, for the period March 18, 2006 to December 26, 2006, based on an approved Post Final Adjustment.  The CAISO will post the adjustments on the December 13, 2007 Preliminary Settlement Statement published on Friday, February 8, 2008.

Due to the breadth of the impacted time frame, the CAISO will consolidate the sub-hourly adjustments into monthly totals on the Settlement Statement, with trade date reflected as the impacted month-end trade date and the trade hour and sub-hour interval of one.  The actual calculations were performed at the sub-hour interval level, where:

a)       Adjustments to credit/charge the Scheduling Coordinator (SC) party to the Post Final Adjustment will be reflected under CT 4407.

b)       The adjustments under CT 4407 in item (a) will be allocated prorata based on the Unaccounted for Energy (UFE) under CT 4406.  This allocation will be made for each affected Utility Distribution Company (UDC) territory.

c)       Reversals of CT 4406 allocations in item (b) for UFE charges - exempt resources will be re-allocated prorata based on control area metered demand under CT 1210.

To assist the SCs in validating their statements, the CAISO has posted the following information for all impacted sub-hour intervals on its website at http://www.caiso.com/1f65/1f658091414a0.xls:

·         Total UFE quantity for the affected UDC and allocation amount for CT 4406 adjustments

·         Total control area metered demand and allocation amount for CT 1210 adjustments
