Summary:  The CAISO has posted the Settlements File Specifications Version 18.6 with changes pertaining to new Charge Types for Start-Up and Emission Cost Recovery settlement for Scheduling Coordinator information.

Main Text:  As noticed on February 8, 2008 at http://www.caiso.com/1f67/1f67bdf113040.html, the California ISO (CAISO) will allocate estimated Start-Up and Emissions Cost data in a similar manner to MLCC costs effective Trade Date December 1, 2007.  Start-Up and Emissions Cost charges will be posted as manual line item adjustments in the December 2007 trade month and as system-generated charges beginning January 2008 trade month.

 

The CAISO has updated the Settlements File Specifications document to include the requirements for validating the new Start-Up and Emissions Cost Recovery Charge Types.  Scheduling Coordinators can review the document, Settlements File Specifications Version 18.6, located on the CAISO website at http://www.caiso.com/docs/2005/03/20/2005032014064728893.html .
