Market Initiatives Roadmap

Background The Market Initiatives Roadmap is a stakeholder process to discuss and prioritize features and functions that have been identified for consideration after MRTU start-up. The formal process includes prioritizing and ranking market initiatives and identified FERC mandated market initiatives that the ISO is directed to implement in future Markets and Performance (MAP) Releases. The ISO has developed a four-step process to determine implementation plans for future market enhancements. This four step process involves:  Step 1 – Updating the market initiatives catalogue with desired market enhancements Step 2 – Ranking Market Initiatives using formal ranking process Step 3 – Defining Market Design Vision  Step 4 – Producing an implementation plan for identified market initiatives.
