Declined Real-Time Import Export Bids Settlement Charge As Of 5/1/2008

Summary:

The CAISO filed a tariff amendment that establishes a settlement charge to be assessed to Scheduling Coordinators (SCs) who do not deliver Import/Export bids that are accepted in the CAISO real-time markets. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has conditionally accepted the amendment with an effective date of May 1, 2008. The CAISO will hold a pre-implementation conference call to answer any questions.
