Schedule for 2009 CRR Source Verification and Registration

Summary

The CAISO has posted the Schedule for the 2009 Annual CRR Allocation Source Verification to its website.  Entities who have not yet registered to become a CRR Candidate Holder need to start the registration process by no later than May 2, 2008 in order to participate in the Annual Allocation and no later than September 3, 2008 to participate in the Annual Auction.

Main Text 

The Source Verification process for the 2009 Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) Annual Allocation will begin on July 1, 2008.  The California ISO (CAISO) has posted the schedule for this process to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1fb8/1fb81297d2f230.pdf. 

 

Entities who have not yet registered to become a CRR Candidate Holder and want to participate in the upcoming Annual Allocation and/or Annual Auction must start the registration process by the following dates:

 

• No later than May 2, 2008 - Qualified Load Serving Entities (LSEs) or Out-of Balancing Authority Area Load Serving Entities (OBAALSEs) planning on participating in the 2009 Annual CRR Allocation
• No later than September 3, 2008 - Entities planning on participating in the 2009 Annual CRR Auction
