The California ISO (CAISO) has posted draft tariff language, removing the Decremental Bidding Rule from the MRTU Tariff, for stakeholder comment. The “DEC Bidding Rule Draft Tariff Language” is located on the CAISO Website at: http://www.caiso.com/1fc1/1fc1bd264c0a0.doc. Please submit comments to MRTUTariff@caiso.com by close of business May 13, 2008.
The CAISO does not plan to have a conference call due to the fact there has been internal and external consensus that this rule should be removed for day one MRTU. The CAISO intends to make its tariff amendment filing, removing the Decremental Bidding Rule, on May 23, 2008 following authorization of the Board of Governors.
