Reminder to Download New ADS Client

Summary

On May 2, 2008 the CAISO sent out a Market Notice communicating that all users not running ADS Client version 3.1.24.549 must download the latest version prior to 2:00 p.m. (PDT) on May 13, 2008.  This Market Notice is a reminder for all users to perform this download.

Main Text

The California ISO (CAISO) will perform internal Automated Dispatch System (ADS) server certificate changes on May 13, 2008 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.  This Market Notice is a reminder for all users not running ADS client version 3.1.24.549 must download the latest version, Version 3.2.0.550, prior to this time.

 

On May 2, 2008, the CAISO sent out a Market Notice communicating that ADS is migrating to a CAISO Multiple Application (CMA) digital certificate, generated from the new CyberTrust Certificate Authority, and no longer requires a separate certificate unique to ADS.  The final step of this migration effort includes installation of a new CAISO CyberTrust server certificate, which is not compatible with ADS Client versions prior to 3.1.24.549.  Therefore, all users that did not upgrade to version 3.1.24.549 in January 2008 must upgrade before 2:00 p.m. today, May 13.
