"Vison is nothing without a culture, a corporate spirit, to drive success!  To unleash the tremendous fire from within Team ISO, we follow what I call the "4-L" Model:  Live, Love, Learn & Legacy.  It is all about feeding the body, feeding the heart, feeding the brain and feeding a sense of pride." Yakout Mansour, President and CEO of the California ISO

Legacy:  Feeding the Sense of Pride is tied into the “higher calling” so many of our employees feel regarding their role in creating a bright future for the Golden State. Employees will tell you they feel “it’s more than a job” at the ISO. A recent Employee Satisfaction Survey showed many of our people want to stay through to retirement. My hope is that they will look back and say, “I was a part of it all”. These are the memories we are trying to achieve.

Learn: Feeding the Brain is about learning to be your best for your job of today and your career move of tomorrow. The California ISO is at the nexus of a new world in which solutions to our energy challenges come through advanced technologies and environmentally friendly resources. It is an exciting and inspiring company to be a part of and the changing times require constant knowledge-nurturing.

Love: Feeding the heart is about creating a strong sense of loyalty between employees and the company. We strive for one common vision and are inspired by working together, and treasure diverse ideas and opinions, value transparency and promote “thought  leadership

Live: Feeding the Body is about creating a total rewards program that is focused on a competitive salary and a mix of the right benefits to attract the right people.   We believe in having fun at the ISO and encourage staff to work-out together and play sports together. We provide free onsite health screenings, an onsite gym and one-on-one retirement planning. In addition, we offer personalized work flexibility options.
