Main Text
On July 23, 2008 the California ISO (CAISO) posted a paper titled “Setting Parameter Values for Uneconomic Adjustments in the MRTU Market Optimizations” and on July 30 held a stakeholder meeting with the Market Surveillance Committee (MSC) to review these issues. The primary purpose of the Uneconomic Adjustment Policy effort is to determine the values for the various Uneconomic Adjustment parameters to be used in the MRTU market software at the start-up of the MRTU markets.
CAISO requests stakeholder comments on three specific topics related to the issues described in further detail on the Stakeholder Comments Template, located on the CAISO Website at http://caiso.com/1fb1/1fb1b2f7c080.html. Stakeholders are welcome to provide additional comments on other issues related to this initiative on the template. Please submit comments by close of business August 6, 2008 to Cynthia Hinman at chinman@caiso.com.
