The California ISO (ISO) revised FERC Order No. 890 compliance filing, filed with FERC on October 31, 2008, requires the Transmission Planning Process Participants who are seeking the ISO approval of their projects to submit their projects proposals or study requests through the Request Window. Due to the transition to this new process, the ISO has extended the closing date of the current Request Window to December 15, 2008. This extension applies only to the 2008 Request Window. On an annul basis, the Request Window opens on August 15 and closes on November 30, 2008.
The submission form, descriptions of data requirements for each type of submission, and submission instructions are available at http://caiso.com/1f42/1f42d6e628ce0.html. Interested participants must submit their projects or economic study requests, along with the submission forms and supporting documents, to the ISO by December 15, 2008.
