Renewable Resource Integration Meeting on 1/13/09

The ISO will host the initial meeting of the Renewable Resource Integration Study work group on January 13, 2009 via web conference.

Main Text

The California ISO (the ISO) previously announced it would host the initial meeting of the Renewable Resource Integration Study work group on January 13, 2009 at the ISO offices in Folsom, California.  In order to meet stakeholder requests to reduce travel expenses, the onsite meeting has been changed to a web conference.

 

As a reminder, the focus of the web conference will include:  1) discussion on the scope and objectives of potential analyses to be performed by the ISO in 2009, which will include an evaluation of integrating 33% renewable resources, and 2) assessment of the research and development roadmap.

 

To facilitate this discussion, the ISO will publish a study “objectives” paper and research and development roadmap on or before January 9, 2009 to its website at http://www.caiso.com/1c51/1c51c7946a480.html.

 

The role of the work group is to assist the ISO in:

The ISO requests that interested parties ensure their representatives have system operations, planning, or modeling experience or background.
