As identified in the Five-Year Strategic Plan, the California ISO is engaged in planning, design, engineering and construction efforts for a new facility on our Iron Point property. The new facility will be housed on 30 acres, east of Folsom High School near the intersection of Prairie City and Iron Point roads. The property serves as an ideal location because of the natural contours of the land, which help conceal much of the facility and also provide a beautiful setting for employees to enjoy.
