Main Text
For Resource Adequacy Plans covering any period after December 31, 2009, the California ISO will assign total Available Import Capacity on an annual basis for a one-year term to Load Serving Entities serving load in the ISO Balancing Authority Area and to other market participants through their respective Scheduling Coordinators.
As dictated by the ISO Tariff Section 40.4.6.2.1, the Import Capability assignment is a multi-step process. In accordance with Step 1 of this process, the ISO has posted the 2010 Maximum Import Capability for each branch group to its website on June 30, 2009 at: http://www.caiso.com/23dd/23ddde8034350.pdf.
