Main
Text
The
California ISO completed a stakeholder process to close the gap that
exists between the April 1, 2009 start-up of the new market and the
November 1, 2009 implementation with the of payment acceleration where no
defined settlement statement publishing timeline exists in the applicable ISO
tariff provisions beyond the T+76 Recalculation Settlement Statement. To
resolve the situation, the ISO is proposing to bridge the gap between trading
days April 1, 2009 and November 1, 2009 with a defined settlement
publication routine, ample validation and dispute opportunities, and a sunset
provision that are consistent with the principles of payment acceleration
already in place.
The
ISO has posted New Markets Recalculation Window draft tariff language to its
website at http://www.caiso.com/2755/2755eb2670a00.html
and has scheduled a stakeholder call for July 2, 2010 to review the
proposed draft language. Please submit comments to caisotariff@caiso.com by close of business June 30,
2010 for discussion during the call.
