The California ISO has launched a new effort called the 20-Year Transmission Outlook, and will hold a public stakeholder call on May 14, 2021.
This effort will further support plans to achieve state greenhouse gas reduction and other state policy goals, and will consider a broad range of issues associated with potential grid development options to complement the ISO’s existing processes and state agency resource planning efforts. It will be conducted in parallel to the 2021-2022 transmission planning process. A presentation will be available prior to the call on the process webpage at https://stakeholdercenter.caiso.com/RecurringStakeholderProcesses/20-Year-transmission-outlook.
Please submit written comments by end of day May 28, 2021, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the process webpage.
