Event Agenda

The ISO Stakeholder Symposium has grown over the years to one of the premier energy policy forums in the world. The event gathers policy makers, industry leaders, stakeholders, economists, researchers and environmentalists to discuss trends in electrical power systems. This year, the symposium will focus on challenges and opportunities emerging from regional power grids, particularly a western U.S. interconnected system, and a vision of the grid in 2030 and beyond. Keynote speakers include Tom Steyer, philanthropist, prominent environmentalist and hedge fund manager; and Mauricio Gutierrez, CEO of NRG Energy, a company with the nation's largest and most diverse competitive power generation portfolio.

Energy policy leaders also will be featured on a series of panels, designed to promote discussion on many different facets of the industry.

New Event Features

This year we are offering free WiFi access for all guests within the convention center and will be extending our dinner event to include an after dinner networking social lounge which will offer an inviting networking environment with dessert, cocktails and entertainment.

Technology Showcase

Applications are now being accepted for exhibitors to display products and services in our Technology Showcase, one of the more popular features of this event.  The application is available in the Exhibitor Prospectus, which can be found at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/2016StakeholderSymposium-ExhibitorProspectus.pdf.  Please submit your application to symposiumreg@caiso.com by close of business June 1, 2016.
