The California ISO identified two regional transmission solutions that are eligible for competitive solicitation in the Draft 2018-2019 Transmission Plan. The ISO has posted its key selection factors for each of the transmission solutions recommended for approval pursuant to Section 24.5.1 of the ISO tariff, which is available on its website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/KeySelectionFactors-2018-2019TransmissionPlanningProcess.pdf.
Upon ISO Board approval of the Transmission Plan, in April 2019 the ISO will initiate the competitive solicitation for the eligible transmission solutions.
