2020 Import Capability Allocation and Transfer Registration Process
All scheduling coordinators for load serving entities serving load within the California ISO balancing authority area must submit completed import commitment data templates by June 19, 2019, as part of the 2020 import capability allocation and transfer registration process. All other participants interested in transferring import capability must submit the contact information described below.
The ISO assigns import capability for resource adequacy compliance purposes to load serving entities (LSEs) based on load ratio share, while respecting certain existing contractual or ownership arrangements known as pre-RA import commitments, pursuant to ISO tariff section 18.104.22.168.1. The ISO permits import capability transfers if the counterparties are “registered” with the ISO.
The following information must be submitted electronically by June 19, 2019, to email@example.com with “2020 Import Allocation Section 22.214.171.124.1” referenced in the subject line for the 2020 allocation process.
