The California ISO held a stakeholder call on June 27, 2022, as an extension to the 2021-2022 transmission planning process to explore an expression of interest for out-of-state resources in the Idaho area. As noted during the call, and in the subject discussion paper, the ISO planned to release requests for expressions of interest on July 18, 2022; however, due to additional time required by the ISO to review the extensive and detailed stakeholder feedback, it has been delayed until August. As a result of this, the follow-up stakeholder engagement call which was originally scheduled for Aug. 22, 2022, will also be delayed. Appropriate market notification will be provided once the review is complete and timelines are finalized.
