The California ISO has posted its 2022 Summer Loads and Resources Assessment on its website.
The report assesses the expected supply and demand conditions this coming summer for the California Independent System Operator (ISO) balancing authority area (BAA), providing a comparative statistical analysis to the prior year for the purpose of ensuring operational preparedness. The Assessment considers supply and demand conditions across the entire ISO balancing authority area and, to a more limited extent, the entire Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC).
