The California ISO will hold a stakeholder call on Jan. 20, 2022, to discuss the draft final proposal and draft tariff language for the Adjustment to Intertie Constraint Penalty Prices initiative.
The draft final proposal incorporates stakeholder input received over the issue paper and straw proposal, which identified the reasons why overscheduling on certain interties occurred, and proposed changes to certain penalty prices parameters to ensure future such instances are able to be resolved by the market, in order to avoid clearing infeasible imports that eventually have to be curtailed in real-time.
The draft final proposal and draft tariff language, as well as all related information, may be found on the initiative webpage.
In addition, the web conference will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the draft final proposal and draft tariff language, by end of day Feb. 3, 2022 using the commenting tool located on the initiative webpage linked above.
