The California ISO is now publishing aggregated data on transactions establishing Priority Wheeling Through status across the ISO system with a scheduling priority equal to load. The ISO committed to provide this data as part of the transparency enhancements suggested by stakeholders in the External Load Forward Scheduling Rights Process initiative. The data is available on the Reliability Requirements webpage, under the
Wheeling and Resource Adequacy Imports Aggregate Data heading.
The data consists of monthly aggregated MWs of Priority Wheeling Through transactions, across the different import and export points on the ISO system, that have met the necessary requirements to establish scheduling priority equal to load 45 days in advance of the month. The ISO will update this document on an on-going basis as new transaction data becomes available.
Stakeholders also requested the ability to provide input on the format of how this data is presented. Please reach out to isostakeholderaffairs@caiso.com if you have suggestions for how to improve the format or presentation of the available data.
