To allow for additional time to complete use limited resource registrations and progress with negotiated cost discussions prior to production implementation, the ISO has delayed the activation of Commitment Cost Enhancements Phase 3 (CCE3) functionality until April 1, 2019. All tariff changes will not take effect until April 1.
The extended activation date of April 1 will allow for additional outreach and discussions with Client Representatives to answer questions and provide guidance on the changes for the CCE3 project.
Market Simulation testing will continue as planned for fall 2018, and will maintain a focus on validating functionality. Detailed discussions and reviews of Opportunity Cost Calculator and negotiated cost results will be held during the months of November through February.
More information on the CCE3 implementation is available on the Release Planning webpage at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/ReleasePlanning/Default.aspx.
