The California ISO has posted draft tariff language for the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 1 initiative.  A stakeholder call is scheduled on April 25, 2016 to discuss the proposed language.  Please submit comments by April 18.

A stakeholder call is scheduled on April 25, 2016 to discuss draft tariff language for the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 1 initiative posted on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/DraftTariffLanguage-EnergyStorageandDistributedEnergyResourcesPhase1.doc.  These tariff revisions (1) implement the metering generator output demand response methodologies and (2) establish non-generator resources to provide the ISO with accurate state-of-charge and MWh constraints in the ISO market.

 

Please submit comments on the draft tariff language to initiativecomments@caiso.com by close of business April 18.
