On April 3, 2020, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ordered the California ISO to hold off applying interest until it has addressed the ISO’s two compliance filings that were submitted on March 2 and March 31, 2020. The ISO issued invoices and statements for the March 2, 2020 filing with a payment date of April 6, 2020.
The ISO will withdraw these invoices from our Market Results Interface - Settlements system, and will be returning any funds to parties that have already submitted payments. These payments will be returned within 24-48 hours; with all payments refunded no later than Friday, April 10, 2020.
The ISO will not issue invoices on April 9, 2020, as previously noted until further direction from the FERC.
