Joint CEC and CPUC Staff Workshop on Renewable Resource Portfolios on 12/19/12




The California Energy Commission (CEC) and California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) will host a stakeholder workshop on December 19, 2012 to discuss the renewable resource portfolio that will be provided to the California ISO for its 2013-2014 Transmission Planning Process (TPP). Please submit comments to the CPUC by 4:00 p.m. January 11, 2013.



Main Text

In accordance with a May, 2010 Memorandum of Understanding between the California ISO and the CPUC, in coordination with the CEC, the CPUC will develop the renewable resource portfolios used by the ISO in its annual transmission planning process. The CPUC and CEC will jointly host a workshop to discuss the proposed renewable resource portfolios that will be provided to the ISO for use in its 2013/2014 transmission planning process. The draft portfolios will be sent to the CEC energy policy list, the CPUC service lists for Long-term Procurement Plan (R.12-03-014) and Renewables Portfolio Standard (R.11-05-005). ISO market participants will be sent a market notice when the draft portfolios are available, which is scheduled by December 12, 2012.
