The California ISO will be launching a new initiative called Capacity Procurement Mechanism (CPM) Soft Offer Cap. The scope of this initiative includes updating the CPM soft offer cap and reviewing compensation for 12-month CPM designations.
This initiative will kick-off with an issue paper published in early June, followed by a stakeholder call to discuss the paper. Upcoming activities related to this initiative will be detailed in a market notice and posted on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/CapacityProcurementMechanismSoft-OfferCap.aspx.
