The ISO has scheduled a public stakeholder meeting on October 25 to discuss the issue paper for phase 1 and phase 2 for the RA Enhancements initiative and the phase 1 straw proposal. Phase 1 of this initiative will consider the changes to the ISO's resource adequacy program that are necessary to support a multi-year resource adequacy proposal adopted by the California Public Utilities Commission. Phase 2 will explore other resource adequacy enhancements necessary to further align the ISO planning and procurement processes with operational needs to maintain system reliability.
A presentation, along with the paper, will be available prior to the meeting on the initiative webpage at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/ResourceAdequacyEnhancements.aspx. A notice in the Daily Briefing will announce when the paper is posted. Stakeholders, or other interested parties, should sign up for the Daily Briefing, a once a day email summarizing that day's notifications.

Please submit written comments on the issue paper to initiativecomments@caiso.com by end of day November 8.
