The California ISO has posted the list of qualified project sponsors and proposals for the Delaney to Colorado River 500 kV transmission line. The ISO will now initiate the selection process to determine which qualified project sponsor should finance, own, construct, operate and maintain the Delaney to Colorado River 500 kV transmission line.
The Delaney to Colorado River transmission line project is subject to competitive solicitation pursuant to phase 3 of the 2013-2014 ISO transmission planning process. The list of qualified project sponsors and proposals is available on the ISO web site at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/List-QualifiedProjectSponsors-Proposals-Delaney-ColoradoRiverProject.pdf.
In accordance with section 24.5.3 of its tariff, the ISO qualified the project sponsors and their proposals based on the criteria in tariff section 184.108.40.206 - Project Sponsor Qualification and 220.127.116.11 - Proposal Qualification.
The ISO will now undertake the selection process to determine which qualified project sponsor should finance, own, construct, operate and maintain the Delaney to Colorado River 500 kV transmission line, in accordance with tariff section 18.104.22.168 - Multiple Qualified Project Sponsors and Proposals: Selection of Approved Project Sponsor.
