Qualified Project Sponsors and Proposals for the Estrella, Spring and Wheeler Ridge Junction Substation Projects

 

 

Summary

The California ISO posted three lists of qualified project sponsors and proposals for the Estella, Spring and Wheeler Ridge Junction substation projects for phase 3 of the 2013-2014 transmission planning process.  The ISO will go through the selection process to determine a qualified project sponsor to finance, own, construct, operate and maintain the Estrella, Spring and Wheeler Ridge Junction substation projects.

 

 

Main Text

The Estrella, Spring and Wheeler Ridge Junction substation projects are subject to the competitive solicitation in phase 3 of the 2013-2014 ISO transmission planning process.  Three lists of qualified project sponsors and proposals for the respective projects are available on the ISO website as follows:

Pursuant to section 24.5.3 of its tariff, the ISO qualified project sponsors and their proposals based on the criteria in section 24.5.3.1 Project Sponsor Qualification and 24.5.3.2 Proposal Qualification.

The ISO will now determine through the selection process a qualified project sponsor to finance, own, construct, operate and maintain the Estrella, Spring and Wheeler Ridge Junction substation projects, in accordance to the tariff section 24.5.3.5 Multiple Qualified Project Sponsors and Proposals: Selection of Approved Project Sponsor.
