Scheduling coordinators (SCs) who submit settlement quality meter data (SQMD) to the California ISO and who were not participating in the ISO market before April 10, 2017, or that re-power, modify their meter data interval or add generating capacity, must submit an SQMD Plan to the ISO for approval, per Tariff section 10.3.7.5. Annually, the SC must review their approved SQMD Plan, perform a self-assessment to verify they continue to comply with the SQMD Plan, and submit, in writing, a SQMD
Affirmation affirming their compliance with the SQMD Plan. Affirmations are due Oct. 31, 2019.
The ISO has identified the scheduling coordinators that are required to complete this affirmation. Contacts listed on the SQMD Plan will receive affirmations for signature through DocuSign, an electronic signature service. The affirmation document will include directions to fulfill the requirement. Affirmations will be sent before Oct. 20, 2019, and are required to be completed and returned by Oct. 31, 2019.
If your organization has an approved and implemented SQMD Plan but has not received an affirmation template by Oct. 20, 2019, please contact the ISO Energy Data Acquisition Systems team at EDAS@caiso.com.
Failure to submit the SQMD Affirmation by the due date is a tariff violation and will result in a Rules of Conduct violation in accordance with section 37.6.3.2 until the report is received.
