Stakeholder Symposium: ISO Introduces GridTech Expo and Sponsorship Packages; Now Accepting Applications

The California ISO is pleased to introduce the addition of GridTech Expo and sponsorship packages to its annual Symposium on October 17 and 18, 2018 at the Sacramento Convention Center.  Companies looking to increase visibility of their products and services to a diverse audience of electric industry members are encouraged to apply.  Exhibitor and sponsorship applications are now being accepted.

The ISO is pleased to introduce the addition of GridTech Expo and sponsorship packages to its annual Symposium on October 17 and 18 at the Sacramento Convention Center.

In past years, the Symposium included a Technology Showcase which was limited to 27 vendors.  GridTech Expo will be organized in a trade show style format with 36 booths located in exhibition hall B on the first floor of the convention center.  Vendors who participate in the Expo will have access to nearly 1,000 key energy industry members, primarily executives and leaders, across the West.

To attract more attention to the Expo, the ISO will host all of the Symposium meals, breaks and reception in the exhibition hall.  In addition, larger technologies will be on display, such as an electric vehicle and/or a micro grid, to draw more foot traffic into the area.  Sufficient time will be built into the agenda to give exhibitors ample time to meet with Symposium guests.

There are two booth packages available – standard and premium.  Premium booths are located in higher traffic areas.  Please refer to the floorplan on the Symposium webpage for more details.  If you are interested in participating in the GridTech Expo, please complete the online application on the webpage using the link above.

Another new feature added to the Symposium is the opportunity to become an event sponsor.  It is an effective and economical way to gain recognition and promote your organization’s products to a broad audience of industry members.  There are four levels available: Bronze, silver, gold and platinum.  To learn more about these packages and register as a sponsor, visit the Symposium webpage.

The deadline to submit the exhibitor application and sponsor registration is September 1, 2018.
