The California ISO will hold a public stakeholder call on Jan. 6, 2020, to discuss the straw proposal for the Variable Operations and Maintenance Cost Review initiative.
In July 2019, the ISO issued a proposal for initial operations and maintenance cost updates and held five technology-specific working groups with stakeholders to better understand maintenance costs incurred by resources. Based on feedback received during working groups, the ISO has identified areas for improvement within the current operations and maintenance framework and has prepared a straw proposal. The paper is available on the initiative webpage at http://www.caiso.com/StakeholderProcesses/Variable-operations-maintenance-cost-review.
A presentation will also be available prior to the call at the webpage linked above.
A web conference will be available for stakeholder convenience. In addition, the call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
