The Public Interest Group and Consumer Advocate sector is initiating the process to select a liaison to serve on the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Regional Issues Forum. The California ISO is assisting this sector, and will hold a public stakeholder call on Aug. 20, 2020, to identify and select a qualified candidate for the open position.
The Regional Issues Forum (RIF) is a venue to discuss and share opinions on issues regarding the Western EIM and relevant topics. Each sector of the forum has been tasked with selecting two liaisons whose roles are to organize and facilitate input and participation from their respective sectors on the topics and content of the forums.
The definition of this sector, as stated in the Western EIM Regional Issues Forum Operating Guidelines is, “organizations that represent end-use customers and organizations that represent other public interests”.
Information related to the Western EIM Regional Issues Forum is available at https://www.westerneim.com/Pages/Governance/RegionalIssuesForum.aspx.
