The California ISO has cancelled its request for written comments on the presentation materials and discussion for the November 30 Day-Ahead Market Enhancements working group meeting. The submission deadline was on December 21.
During the November 30 working group meeting, the ISO presented two options for introducing the flexible ramping product into the day-ahead market. These options were also presented to the Market Surveillance Committee at its December 7 meeting. Based on the verbal comments received during those two forums, the ISO does not believe additional written comments are necessary to ascertain stakeholder preferences on the two options. The ISO will provide additional updates on this initiative in a future market notice.
