The Board Nominee Review Committee is seeking interested and qualified California ISO Board of Governors candidates, and Position Specifications have been posted to the Board and Committees webpage.
On Oct. 6, 2022, the ISO announced that it was initiating the formal Board selection process, activating the Board Nominee Review Committee, and seeking stakeholder participation and candidate nominations. The posted document outlines the qualifications desired by the ISO that seek to complement those of existing Board members.
Given the diverse operations performed by the ISO, it is critical that the Board represents many areas of expertise, such as, but not limited to:
- Electric industry
- Markets/finance
- Corporate/legal
- Public interest/regulatory
- Technology/cybersecurity
An outline of the Board selection process can be found in the Board Selection Policy.
Stakeholders interested in participating must send their contact information by Oct. 28, 2022, to the sector lead of the member class sector that best represents the stakeholder. The list of contacts is below.
