California ISO activates COVID-19 screening protocols for week of 12/11/23
MESSAGE

With Sacramento, El Dorado and Placer counties being upgraded to a medium, or yellow, status for COVID-19 hospitalizations, the California ISO is activating screening protocols for its buildings, effective Monday, Dec. 11, 2023.

The ISO will proceed to host the in-person Regional Issues Forum on Monday, Dec. 11, and the ISO Board of Governors and Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Governing Body meetings as scheduled on-site Dec. 12-14, with options to attend virtually.

Per our COVID-19 protocols, visitors to the ISO buildings – and staff attending in-person meetings with external visitors – will need to acknowledge they have tested negative for COVID within 24 hours of being on site. Test kits will be available upon arrival, if needed.

All in-person meetings have an option for attending virtually. Check the calendar on the caiso.com homepage for upcoming meetings, along with instructions for attending virtually, and all meeting agendas and materials.

All ISO meeting rooms have masks and hand sanitizer available.

The ISO is committed to protecting its employees, stakeholders and visitors, and the local community, and follows federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protocol for COVID-19 hospitalizations. The ISO will continue weekly monitoring of the CDC COVID-19 data tracker to help keep staff and visitors safe.

The ISO will provide updates as new information becomes available.
