As detailed in the California Public Utilities Commission’s (CPUCs) Resource Adequacy (RA) Reform working group meetings and report, and as noticed to the CPUC’s R.21-10-002 service list, the CPUC Energy Division has developed a draft Master Resource Database and populated it using public data sources and default values. CPUC Energy Division has requested the ISO to issue a notice regarding the posting of the draft CPUC Master Resource Database, which is available here.
The CPUC Energy Division requests that generators contact CPUC Energy Division staff with updates if they would like to use values other than the included default values. Additionally, parties are welcome to send informal feedback to the CPUC Energy Division. The CPUC Energy Division notes that the solar and wind profiles are placeholders and CPUC Energy Division will update these once a final Qualifying Capacity (QC) methodology for the CPUC’s Slice of Day framework is adopted.
