The California ISO will host a virtual public stakeholder workshop on Sept. 14, 2022 for the Day-Ahead Market Enhancements initiative. The workshop will focus on several elements of the proposal, such as avoiding duplicative capacity payments, local market power mitigation, incorporating energy costs into capacity procurement, variable energy resource participation in the new capacity products, and energy storage resource participation in the new capacity products.
Meeting materials will be posted to the initiative webpage prior to the workshop. The workshop will be recorded and the file posted to the initiative webpage for a limited time. Any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
