The California ISO is pleased to announce that the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) revised straw proposal has been posted to the initiative webpage. The revised straw proposal describes the different elements of the EDAM design informed by perspectives shared through stakeholder comments on the straw proposal and collaborative stakeholder discussions in workshops held July 11-27.
In addition to the virtual meeting that has been scheduled and announced for August 29, the ISO will hold a public stakeholder meeting, offered in-person and virtually, on Sept. 7-8, 2022, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento Riverfront Promenade in Sacramento, California.
Stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the September 7-8 meetings to provide their preliminary feedback on the revised straw proposal, and for an engaging and productive discussion. Please register for the meeting no later than September 2. Early registration is encouraged since in-person capacity may be limited on a first come first serve basis.
The two-day meeting will be recorded and the video files posted to the initiative webpage linked above for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only. Any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Comments on the revised straw proposal are due by close of business September 20, extended from the previous September 13 deadline. Please use the online template available on the initiative webpage when submitting comments.
