The California ISO, Balancing Authority of Northern California (BANC), NV Energy, PacifiCorp, and Southern California Edison are pleased to co-host an Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Forum on Aug. 30, 2023, at the Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The EDAM forum aims to advance the understanding of theEDAM, its evolution, and outlook for the future. The forum will bring together utility leaders and regulators across the West who will share their perspectives on EDAM participation, the key decisional factors under consideration and the regulatory landscape. It will also feature insights into the Brattle EDAM Simulations study and will foster a dialogue discussion on EDAM operability with the Western Power Pool’s Western Resource Adequacy Program (WRAP).
Prior to the forum, the meeting hosts invite participants to a networking reception the evening of Aug. 29. Location details for the reception will be provided in a future notice.
Registration to attend the EDAM forum in person is now open. This is a free event but registration is required to attend. Please register here by end of day Aug. 22.
