The California ISO will host a hybrid public Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Coordination working group meeting on April 17, 2024. Attendees may choose to participate in person at the ISO, or virtually. If you plan to attend the working group in person, please register by end of day April 12, 2024.
During the April 17 meeting, the working group will continue discussions on problem statement 7 related to emissions reduction policies, and discuss problem statements 1-4 related to ISO market operations and GHG design, with specific focus on the ISO’s current approach to GHG pricing programs in the Western Energy Imbalance Market.
Working group materials, including an updated discussion paper, will be available prior to the meeting on the GHG Coordination webpage.
The working group will be recorded and the video file posted to the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the working group meeting by end of day May 1, 2024, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
