The California ISO has scheduled an informational stakeholder call on March 11, 2024, to discuss the April Eclipse. The presentation will be available prior to the meeting on the Miscellaneous Stakeholder Meetings webpage.
The California ISO is preparing for a total solar eclipse that will pass through the eastern and central United States, on Monday, April 8, 2024, but bring impacts across the entire west. Details on the expected impacts to CAISO and Western EIM grid-scale commercial photovoltaic solar, behind-the-meter rooftop solar, load impacts, as well as market mechanisms and processes to be utilized during the eclipse will be presented.
