On March 7, 2023, the California ISO selected LS Power Grid California, LLC as the approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain both the Metcalf-San Jose B and Newark-Northern Receiving Station HVDC Projects but did not post the associated reports.
Per ISO tariff section 24.5.5: Within 10 Business Days after selecting an Approved Project Sponsor(s) for a needed transmission solution, the ISO will post on the ISO website a report regarding the selection of the Approved Project Sponsor(s).
