The California ISO has launched a new initiative called Reliability Demand Response Resource Minimum On Time, and scheduled a public stakeholder call on Dec. 20, 2023, to discuss the issue paper/draft final proposal for the initiative. The issue paper/draft final proposal and the comments template document are available on the Miscellaneous stakeholder meetings webpage. A presentation will be available on that same page prior to the call. Please email written comments on the issue paper/draft final proposal by end of day Dec. 18, 2023 to ISOStakeholdersAffairs@caiso.com.
This initiative is currently narrowly scoped to facilitate an expedited stakeholder process timeline. The initiative will propose a change to the current restricted minimum run on time dispatch parameter required in the Tariff for reliability demand response resources.
