The California ISO has launched a new initiative called Washington Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Greenhouse Gas Enhancements, and will hold a virtual workshop with stakeholders and Washington joint agencies on Aug. 22, 2022, to discuss the issue paper and straw proposal for this initiative.
This initiative focuses on market enhancements to support Washington WEIM entities with their reporting of WEIM transactions under Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The issue paper and straw proposal, along with a presentation, will be available prior to the workshop on the initiative webpage.
The workshop will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the issue paper and straw proposal and workshop discussion by end of day September 6, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
