The California ISO (CAISO) has terminated Bia Capital’s participation in the CAISO’s markets pursuant to a Sept.14, 2022 notice of default and termination issued in accordance with CAISO Tariff Section 4.5.4.4 for defaults that Bia Capital failed to remedy within five business days. Pursuant to Section 4.5.4.5.1, the CAISO will file the notice of default and termination with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to terminate Bia Capital’s Scheduling Coordinator Agreement effective as of Sept. 22, 2022, upon FERC acceptance of the CAISO’s filing.
